The Country Flash Band Specializing in Country and Country Rock

The Country Flash Band was formed in 1982 and played in local taverns and night clubs in the Salem area. Due to the financial burden caused by change in liquor laws many of the usual places then offering live music, eliminated bands as one of their expenses. The Country Flash Band decided to then play in the private clubs such as the Fraternal Organizations of the Eagles, Elks, Moose and the American Legion. The Country Flash Band has adapted very well to this atmosphere and playing the requested music of these clubs. Although the Country Flash Band is billed as a country band it has incorporated several music types. The band plays anything from 40's old country to the 2008 country - country rock, also 50's and 60's Rock & Roll.

The Country Flash Band plays night clubs, private clubs, weddings, company picnics, New Year's Eve Parties, or for what ever other occasion may be requested.

At present the "Country Flash Band" is made up of Ron Weathers - bassist, vocalist and band leader who started the band in 1982, Ron Hackett- drummer, since 2007, Red Evenhus - guitarist and harmony singer with band since 2008 and Wes Bakken Pedal Steel Guitar with the band since 2003.
